Sisu and Stella are part of our family and the parents of our current Dogue de Bordeaux litter. They live with us in our home and are at the heart of Prairie & Pine Canines™.
Our dogs are more than the foundation of our breeding program. They share our everyday lives, receive personal care and attention, and are deeply loved members of our family.

Meet Stella
Markiss’s Stella Rose Baxter, known to us as Stella, is a beautiful red Dogue de Bordeaux female weighing approximately 135 pounds.
Stella is loyal, smart, and full of personality. She loves playing ball and is also known for giving a perfectly timed side-eye. She lives with us in our home as part of the family, where we can remain closely involved in her care and the development of her puppies.
This is Stella’s first litter. She and Sisu welcomed four males and two females on May 25, 2026.

Markiss’s Legend of Sisu Bennett, known to us as Sisu, is a big, beautiful mahogany Dogue de Bordeaux male weighing approximately 150 pounds.
Sisu is a total goofball and an absolute happy, cuddly guy. He is affectionate, playful, and happiest when he can be close to his people. His impressive size and powerful appearance are matched by a loving personality that makes him a deeply cherished member of our family.
Sisu is the proud father of our current litter with Stella.

CURRENT LITTER
Sisu and Stella’s May 2026 Litter
Sisu and Stella welcomed their first litter together on May 25, 2026. The litter includes four males and two females.
The puppies are being raised in our home with daily handling, early exposure to household sounds, children, car rides, scent introduction, and age-appropriate socialization. Potty-training foundations are also started before they leave for their new homes.
Each puppy will have an individual profile with updated photos, personality observations, and availability information as they grow.
